It’s early June, the air is warm and humid, but the easy pace of island life makes it all the more enchanting. As eager as you are for the wedding festivities to begin, there’s an even greater thrill in knowing what lies ahead. You and your spouse are transforming your wedding destination into the honeymoon of your dreams, with planned excursions and sights to explore across the island. The excitement is quite palpable as you both look forward to the many adventures that will mark the beginning of your married life together.

Alexis and James didn’t have to imagine this because this was their reality. They knew they wanted to do something different and untraditional for their wedding celebration, and the Hacienda Siesta Alegre provided all of the things they were looking for. Every decision they made was so beautifully tailored to the facets of their relationship, and the things they value most as a couple. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect way that these two could have celebrated.

This wedding day was not just a celebration of love years in the making, but a blend of different cultures, Hispanic design, and the merging of two families who came together in this place to honor Alexis and James. Being invited to document two people I adore, in a place I’ve grown to love over the years, has been one of the highest honors. Every trip to the island is memorable one, but this time especially. I will always cherish my time here, with these wonderful people, and their heartfelt hospitality.
